Before career day I wanted to be a culinarian also known as a chef. The reason behind my interest is my cousin. My cousin went to college to be a culinarian, so every year that he came home for a holiday he would make something new. The one year he made us a pastry right in front of us and it was amazing. I fell in love with cooking and have started my own recipes. From there I wanted to go to the west side market, so on my eleventh birthday my parents took me to the West Side market. I loved it I seen so many different fruits and vegetables like a dragon fruit.
Before this career day my thoughts were that it would be easy as an adult, but after the reality store I learned that being a child is way easier. As a child you don't have to worry about taxes, feeding mouths, putting clothes on someone's back, giving someone a roof over their head, and etc.. Kids think that school is hard, so they want more breaks. Although the year has three hundred sixty-five in a year kids only have to go to school for one hundred eighty days. That leaves one hundred eighty- five days for vacation or breaks. If we put these numbers into months kids would be off of school from the first of January to the fourth of July. That's seven months of no school. As an adult the average adult works two hundred fifty-one days a year. That leaves them with one hundred fourteen days of vacation. Ten of these days are holidays while one hundred four days are weekends. Adults have the first of January to the twenty-fourth of April. A big amount of 4 months. At the reality store we had to deal with the hardships of life like paying bills, buying insurance and exct. We got a paycheck that told us how much we had and if we had kids. My school even brought in cops to give us speeding tickets and stuff. At the end of the day I went to three different classes were people came in and talked to us about our careers we chose. I learned that robots don’t take away our jobs they just create more. We talked about how they created more jobs, robots create more jobs by breaking. We need someone to fix the broken robots. What I learned from the whole career day is that life is hard, and if you don't do something you love then life will be hard and miserable.
