5th Period 1-17-17 Being famous is not as amazing as it looks. Celebrities have worry about the paparazzi following them around. Psychopathe fans breaking and entering into their homes. Celebrities have to worry the most about rumors. Being a celebrity is like being in junior high once someone hears a juicy rumor it starts to spread like wildfire. As a celebrity with a rumor going around once the press gets it they will twist it into a horrible story about that person(s) because the press just wants people to read their newspaper so they get money every time someone buys it. Being famous isn’t always great. “Stars have to wonder if their ‘friends’ like them for who they are or for what they have.” As stated on Scope magazine. Celebrities have to be careful on who they trust to be their freind. In my opinion if I were famous I wouldn’t like my friends to be hanging out with me just for my money or the press. After a while of being famous I would probably start having trust issues. Fame for some star will not make them break down. Take Will Smith at the age of sixteen he launched a successful rap career with Jeff Townes as jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince. Now at the age of forty-eight he has three children and is a residence of Los Angeles, California, U.S.A. Just because he is living well doesn't mean he didn't get help. Being famous can be really stressful, to us outsiders, the constant attention seems glamorous, but in reality it very stressful. Who in their right mind would want people with cameras stalking you, no one would. During an interview Jennifer Lawrence said that when she simply steps out of her door she gets anxiety. If a celebrity wanted to go get a bottle of tylenol for their child they would have to wear fancy clothes and makeup just to go to the store. Heck as a regular human being we could to the store in pink unicorn pajama's and no one would hardly bat an eye, but if Shakira did she would be racist or some odd thing and it would be all over the news. Being famous is very stressful. As a celebrity you have to worry about everything like does this shirt match this skirt or is this tie too wild. It also makes you unable to trust new friends because you don't know if they are lying just to get your wealth or if they are wanting to be your friend for who you are when you're not on stage. To be great doesn't mean you have to be famous.
